The thing about that is it's an item, and not one I can just carry in my pocket - thing weighs a ton. It's in my room, not with me. I know how that makes me look, but...

[She grabs a piece of paper and pen from wherever the paper and pens are, and scribbles it down. It reads Soldier.]

If you want to see it later, I don't mind proving it to you then. But right now they won't let us leave.

[Aloy raises an eyebrow. Yeah, this doesn't look great.]

Well, I'll say this - if you aren't the Ghost, you have the absolute worst luck I've ever heard of.

[perceptions]

Yeah, I know. [She sighs softly.] This isn't the first time I've been in a game like this. So trust me, I know my luck is shit.

Is there anything...weird about the statue you got? Is it just a statue? Most of the items have at least some sort of use, but that seems pretty useless to me if it's so heavy you can't even move it.

[perceptions]

[She taps a finger on her cheek.]

Well, I can talk to it? That's what the rulebook says. I tried it a couple times, but maybe I just never did it right. Not sure if I want to find out what it will say back.

But I'm thinking it might have affected you in some way. Made you hear whatever that noise was.

[perceptions]

[She pauses and crosses her arms.]

Might be. I sure as hell wasn't talking to it at the time, but... [a sigh.] Anything seems possible in this damn place.

[A frown.] I don't want to paint a target on your back or anything, but if that's possible, then...people should probably know about it. Otherwise we don't have any explanation for the voice you heard and they're likely gonna assume you're lying about it.

[perceptions]

[She furrows her brow.]

I don't like this. This is the most vulnerable I've ever felt... fucking hell. [Everything just sucks yo.] I'm trusting you on this Aloy. I really don't know if I'll be cleared by this, but if that's what it takes then fine. Not like my role is that important anyway.
